PMJAY health cover categories: Eligibility criteria for rural and urban People

There are 2.33 crore households in urban regions and 8 crore families in rural areas, totaling 10 crore families.

borrowing money in one form or another. Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana helps these households
avail of healthcare services by providing funding of up to Rs. 5 lakh per family per year. PMJAY will benefit
urban workers’ families in the occupational category present in the Socio-Economic Caste Census 2011.
Further, any family enrolled under the Rashtriya Swasthya Bima Yojana will benefit from the PM Jan
Arogya Yojana.
In urban areas, those who can avail of the government-sponsored scheme consist mainly of:

  • Rag pickers
  • Mechanics, electricians, and repair workers
  • Domestic help Godaddy
  • Sanitation workers, gardeners, and sweepers
  • Home-based artisans, handicraft workers, and tailors

  • 2.Now enter your mobile number and the captcha code given on the screen.
  • 3.Enter the OTP that is sent to your registered mobile number, it will then take you to the PMJAY login screen
  • 4.Now select the state from which you are applying for this scheme
  • 5.Select how you want to check for your eligibility criteria: Mobile number, Name, 6. Ratio card number, or RSBY URN number
  • 7.Your name will reflect on the right-hand side of the page (if you are eligible)
